       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Hays) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 326 - 329
    4  and insert:
    5  course within the previous 5 years. Once trained, an expert must
    6  retake the required training course every 5 years in order to
    7  remain on the registry. An expert who has not completed the
    8  required training course or has not retaken the training course
    9  within 5 years must be removed from the registry and may not
   10  conduct competency evaluations for the courts.
