       Senator Lynn moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 261 - 276
    4  and insert:
    5  million for each such occurrence.
    6         (a) A Florida College System institution subject to a fine
    7  shall be assessed by the State Board of Education.
    8         (b) A state university subject to a fine shall be assessed
    9  by the Board of Governors.
   10         (c) A nonpublic college, university, or school subject to a
   11  fine shall be assessed by the Commission for Independent
   12  Education.
   13         (4) Any Florida College System institution, state
   14  university, or nonpublic college, university, or school, as
   15  defined in s. 1000.21 or s. 1005.02, whose law enforcement
   16  agency fails to report known or suspected child abuse,
   17  abandonment, or neglect committed on the property of the
   18  university, college, or school, or during an event or function
   19  sponsored by the university, college, or school, shall be
   20  subject to fines of $1 million for each such occurrence,
   21  assessed
