       The Committee on Budget (Bennett) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (616172) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 99 - 104
    5  and insert:
    6         4. Medical benefits do not include acupuncture as defined
    7  in s. 457.102. Medical benefits do not include massage as
    8  defined in s. 480.033 unless prescribed by a physician in a
    9  prescription that includes the diagnosis, the frequency of
   10  treatment, the modalities of treatment, and a statement of
   11  medical necessity for the massage and any modalities. Massage
   12  therapy is covered only if it is a component of a medically
   13  necessary treatment plan, and is not covered in the absence of
   14  treatment or other therapeutic modalities performed by the
   15  prescribing physician.
