       The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
       (Bogdanoff) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Delete line 28
    4  and insert:
    5         (7) PROCUREMENT OF ADDITIONAL PROVIDERS.—If the department
    6  chooses to designate an additional provider company from which
    7  contracts may be purchased under the program as provided in
    8  paragraph (6)(b), the department shall conduct a competitive
    9  procurement and the designation of the additional provider is
   10  effective from July 1, 2012, until December 31, 2014. All
   11  companies seeking a designation that is effective on or after
   12  January 1, 2015, shall participate together in a separate
   13  competitive procurement conducted by the department for the
   14  purpose of selecting the total number of provider companies
   15  authorized in paragraph (6)(b) and deemed reasonable and prudent
   16  by the department.
   17         Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.

   20         And the directory clause is amended as follows:
   21         Delete line 11
   22  and insert:
   23  121.35, Florida Statutes, is amended, and subsection (7) is
   24  added to that section, to read:

   28         Delete line 6
   29  and insert:
