       Senator Fasano moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 350 - 352
    4  and insert:
    5  who is affected by the privatization must be given a right of
    6  first refusal for continued employment by the contractor
    7  selected as a result of a request for proposals. The contractor
    8  shall pay a former Department of Corrections employee who lost
    9  his or her position as a result of the privatization at the same
   10  salary rate, including benefits, which the former employee was
   11  paid while employed with the state during at least the first 2
   12  years of employment with the contractor. The Department of
