       Senator Diaz de la Portilla moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (596924) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 794 and 795
    5  insert:
    6         Section 10. Paragraph (x) is added to subsection (1) of
    7  section 316.008, Florida Statutes, to read:
    8         316.008 Powers of local authorities.—
    9         (1) The provisions of this chapter shall not be deemed to
   10  prevent local authorities, with respect to streets and highways
   11  under their jurisdiction and within the reasonable exercise of
   12  the police power, from:
   13         (x) Closing or limiting access to a street.

   17         Between lines 1356 and 1357
   18  insert:
   19         amending s. 316.008, F.S.; revising the powers of
   20         local authorities to include closing or limiting
   21         access to a street;
