       The Committee on Community Affairs (Norman) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Between lines 55 and 56
    4  insert:
    5         Section 6. Gene Carpenter Memorial Highway designated;
    6  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
    7         (1) That portion of State Road 679/Pinellas Bayway South in
    8  Pinellas County from north of the pedestrian crossing to State
    9  Road 682/Pinellas Bayway South is designated as “Gene Carpenter
   10  Memorial Highway.”
   11         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   12  suitable markers designating the Gene Carpenter Memorial Highway
   13  as described in subsection (1).
