       The Committee on Health Regulation (Sobel) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 200 - 203
    4  and insert:
    5  termination of pregnancy is necessary to save the life or
    6  preserve the health of the pregnant woman; or
    7  
    8         Delete lines 317 - 322
    9  and insert:
   10  complying with the requirements of informed consent would
   11  threaten the life or health of the patient is a defense to any
   12  action brought under this paragraph.
   13  
   14         Delete lines 334 - 337
   15  and insert:
   16  this subsection, the woman’s life and health shall constitute an
   17  overriding and superior
   18

   20         And the title is amended as follows:
   21         Delete lines 19 - 32
   22  and insert:
   23         informed; conforming terminology; deleting the
   24         definition of the term “viability”; prohibiting a
