       The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs (Rich)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 91 - 97
    4  and insert:
    5  	(2)(a) The memory-impairment screening grant program is
    6  created and shall be administered by the department.
    7  	(b) The department may award grants to qualifying entities
    8  to support the development, expansion, or operation of programs
    9  that provide:
   10  	1. Information and education on the importance of memory
   11  screening for early diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s
   12  disease and related disorders.
   13  	2. Screenings for memory impairment.
