1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to voter identification at the polls;
3	amending s. 101.043, F.S.; repealing a provision that
4	prohibits a clerk or inspector from asking an elector
5	to provide additional information or recite the
6	elector's home address after presenting picture
7	identification that matches the elector's address in
8	the supervisor of elections' records; providing an
9	effective date.

11	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13	Section 1.  Paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of section
14	101.043, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
15	101.043  Identification required at polls.-
16	(1)
17	(c)  When an elector presents his or her picture
18	identification to the clerk or inspector and the elector's
19	address on the picture identification matches the elector's
20	address in the supervisor's records, the elector may not be
21	asked to provide additional information or to recite his or her
22	home address.
23	Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2012.
