       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Hays) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 84 - 90
    4  and insert:
    5         (b) “Nonviolent offender” means an offender:
    6         1. Whose primary offense is a felony of the third degree;
    7         2. Who has not been convicted or previously convicted of a
    8  forcible felony as defined in s. 776.08, Florida Statutes; and
    9         3. Who has not been convicted of any offense that requires
   10  a person to register as a sexual offender pursuant to s.
   11  943.0435, Florida Statutes.
