       Senator Norman moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 74 - 77
    4  and insert:
    5         (2) This section does not change the liability for injury,
    6  damage, or death that occurs during school hours or during a
    7  school-related or school-sponsored activity.
    8         (3) Nothing in this section shall be deemed a waiver of
    9  sovereign immunity beyond the limited waiver in s. 768.28.

   12         And the title is amended as follows:
   13         Delete lines 16 - 17
   14  and insert:
   15         negligence or intentional misconduct; clarifying that
   16         the liability for injury, damage, or death that occurs
   17         during school hours or during a school-related or
   18         school-sponsored activity does not change; providing
   19         that sovereign immunity is not waived beyond the
   20         limited waiver in s. 768.28, F.S.; providing an
   21         effective date.
