Senator Bogdanoff moved the following:

3 Between lines 83 and 84
4 insert:
5 Section 2. Paragraph (i) is added to subsection (1) of
6 section 48.193, Florida Statutes, to read:
7 48.193 Acts subjecting person to jurisdiction of courts of
8 state.—
9 (1) Any person, whether or not a citizen or resident of
10 this state, who personally or through an agent does any of the
11 acts enumerated in this subsection thereby submits himself or
12 herself and, if he or she is a natural person, his or her
13 personal representative to the jurisdiction of the courts of
14 this state for any cause of action arising from the doing of any
15 of the following acts:
16 (i) Ordering or requiring a person incorporated or having
17 its principal place of business in this state to act as a
18 collection agent to collect monetary payments from another
19 person, whether or not such person is a resident of this state,
20 unless the parties have otherwise agreed by contract. The courts
21 of this state shall limit the application of, refuse to enforce,
22 or enjoin any such requirements that are inequitable,
23 impracticable, or impossible.

27 Delete line 11
28 and insert:
29 courts of this state; amending s. 48.193, F.S.;
30 including as an additional basis for subjecting a
31 person to the jurisdiction of the courts of this
32 state, a provision which states that a person submits
33 to the jurisdiction of the courts of this state by
34 entering into a contract that designates the law of
35 this state as the law governing the contract and that
36 contains a provision by which such person agrees to
37 submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of this
38 state; amending s. 55.502, F.S.;
