       The Committee on Reapportionment (Altman) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 5920 - 5924
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 2. Consistent with s. 16, Article III of the State
    6  Constitution, senatorial districts shall be numbered
    7  sequentially from north to south, measured from the northernmost
    8  point of each district. In the event two or more district
    9  northern boundaries are equal, the westernmost district shall
   10  have the lower number.
