       The Committee on Appropriations (Montford) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 51 and 52
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. Paragraph (e) is added to subsection (2) of
    6  section 121.061, Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         121.061 Funding.—
    8         (2)
    9         (e) If a charter school or charter technical school for
   10  which a sponsor receives public funds fails to make the
   11  retirement and social security contributions as required by this
   12  chapter, the sponsor, at the request of the administrator and
   13  upon receipt of a certificate from the administrator which shows
   14  the amount owed by the employer, shall deduct the amount so
   15  certified from any public funds otherwise allocated for the
   16  charter school or charter technical school and remit the amount
   17  to the administrator for further distribution to the trust funds
   18  in accordance with this chapter.

   21         And the title is amended as follows:
   22         Between lines 2 and 3
   23  insert:
   24         amending s. 121.061, F.S.; requiring the sponsor of a
   25         charter school to deduct certain contribution amounts
   26         certified from public funds otherwise allocated for
   27         the charter school or charter technical school and
   28         remit the amount to the administrator for further
   29         distribution to trust funds under certain
   30         circumstances;
