       Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal and Civil Justice (Hays)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 42 - 48
    4  and insert:
    5  
    6  shall have the same training as a law enforcement officer in
    7  accordance with s. 943.13 and s. 943.135(1). A Class I, Class
    8  II, or Class III railroad shall be considered an employing
    9  agency for purposes of s. 943.13 and s. 943.135(1), and shall
   10  pay all costs associated with the training and continuing
   11  education of employed special officers.
