       The Committee on Education (Simmons) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 29 - 50
    4  and insert:
    5         (1) Each school district shall have a minimum of one full
    6  time certified school counselor for each school.
    7         (2) Each certified school counselor shall provide
    8  counseling to students; develop and deliver curriculum at the
    9  appropriate grade level; coordinate activities and programs for
   10  each curriculum; and consult with school administrators,
   11  teachers, parents, and students.

   14         And the title is amended as follows:
   15         Delete lines 3 - 15
   16  and insert:
   17         requiring each school district to have at least one
