       Senator Lee moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 119 - 123
    4  and insert:
    5         (I) The insurer for the health care practitioner or
    6  provider may not contact the health care practitioner or
    7  provider to recommend that the health care practitioner or
    8  provider seek legal counsel relating to a particular matter.
    9         (II) The insurer may not select an attorney for the
   10  practitioner or the provider. However, the insurer may recommend
   11  attorneys who do not represent a defendant or prospective
   12  defendant in the matter if the practitioner or provider contacts
   13  an insurer relating to the practitioner’s or provider’s
   14  potential involvement in the matter.
   15         (III) The attorney selected by the practitioner or the
