       The Committee on Rules (Latvala) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

    3         Between lines 401 and 402
    4  insert:
    5         (18) LOCAL OFFICERS; EMPLOYMENT RESTRICTION.—
    6         (a) For the purposes of this subsection, “managerial or
    7  administrative position” includes employment as a local
    8  government attorney or the chief administrative officer of the
    9  city, town, or village.
   10         (b) A person who has been elected to any city, town, or
   11  village office may not be employed in a managerial or
   12  administrative position by another city, town, or village within
   13  the same county during his or her term of office.
