       Senator Soto moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 438 - 439
    4  and insert:
    5  
    6  If a landlord initiates an eviction action for nonpayment of
    7  rent without first complying with the notice requirements of s.
    8  83.56(3), upon a timely filed motion by either party, the court
    9  may stay the action until the landlord complies with the notice
   10  requirements of s. 83.56(3).

   14         And the title is amended as follows:
   15         Delete lines 38 - 41
   16  and insert:

   18         references; amending s. 83.60, F.S.; providing that if
   19         a landlord initiates an eviction action for nonpayment
   20         of rent without first complying with the appropriate
   21         notice requirements, the court may stay the action
   22         until the landlord complies with the notice
   23         requirements; making technical changes;
