       Senator Diaz de la Portilla moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 487 - 491
    4  and insert:
    5         (4) An individual may not serve as an arbitrator if the
    6  individual, or the arbitration service through which the
    7  individual was contracted, has a known, direct, material
    8  interest in the outcome of the arbitration proceeding or has a
    9  known, existing relationship with a party.
