       The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Hays) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 139 - 145
    4  and insert:
    5         (m) Entities that are owned by a corporation that has $250
    6  million or more in total annual sales of health care services
    7  provided by licensed health care practitioners where one or more
    8  of the persons responsible for the operation of the entity
    9  owners is a health care practitioner who is licensed in this
   10  state and who is responsible for supervising the business
   11  activities of the entity and is legally responsible for the
   12  entity’s compliance with state law for purposes of this part.
