       The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Braynon) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 711 - 736
    4  and insert:
    5  designate any suitable location as an early voting site city
    6  hall or permanent public library facility as early voting sites;
    7  however, if so designated, the sites must be geographically
    8  located so as to provide all voters in the county an equal
    9  opportunity to cast a ballot, insofar as is practicable. Each
   10  county shall, at a minimum, operate the same total number of
   11  early voting sites that the county used for the 2012 general
   12  election. The results or tabulation of votes cast during early
   13  voting may not be made before the close of the polls on election
   14  day. Results shall be reported by precinct.
   15         (d) Early voting shall begin on the 15th 10th day before an
   16  election that contains state or federal races and end on the 2nd
   17  3rd day before the election, and shall be provided for no less
   18  than 12 6 hours and no more than 12 hours per day at each site
