       The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Clemens) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete line 860
    4  and insert:
    5  affidavit in order to cure the unsigned absentee ballot. A
    6  supervisor who receives an absentee ballot that does not include
    7  the elector's signature must notify the elector of that fact
    8  along with the procedure for curing such deficiency within 48
    9  hours of receipt.
