       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Smith) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 16 - 19
    4  and insert:
    5         (1) It is unlawful for a person, firm, or corporation, to
    6  sell, barter, or give away any animal or fowl, including but not
    7  limited to, rabbits, baby chickens, and ducklings that have been
    8  dyed or artificially colored.

   11         And the title is amended as follows:
   12         Delete line 7
   13  and insert:
   14         certain age; providing exceptions; providing that it
   15         is unlawful to sell, barter, or give away certain
   16         designated animals that have been dyed or colored;
   17         providing criminal
