       The Committee on Judiciary (Joyner) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 43 - 49
    4  and insert:
    5         (2) A political subdivision may not adopt or enact an
    6  ordinance requiring an employer to provide family or medical
    7  leave benefits to an employee or otherwise regulate such
    8  benefits before July 1, 2014. This subsection expires June 30,
    9  2014.
