       Senator Abruzzo moved the following:
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory amendment)
    3         Between lines 184 and 185
    4  insert:
    5         (f) Every property insurance policy issued or renewed on or
    6  after January 1, 2009, for the purpose of protecting the
    7  condominium must provide primary coverage for:
    8         1. All portions of the condominium property as originally
    9  installed or replacement of like kind and quality, in accordance
   10  with the original plans and specifications.
   11         2. All alterations or additions made to the condominium
   12  property or association property pursuant to s. 718.113(2).
   13         3. The coverage must exclude all personal property within
   14  the unit or limited common elements; drywall;, and floor, wall,
   15  and ceiling coverings;, electrical fixtures;, appliances;, water
   16  heaters;, water filters;, built-in cabinets and countertops;,
   17  and window treatments, including curtains, drapes, blinds,
   18  hardware, and similar window treatment components. The coverage
   19  must also exclude, or replacements of any of the foregoing which
   20  are located within the boundaries of the unit and serve only
   21  such unit. Such property and any insurance thereupon is the
   22  responsibility of the unit owner.
