       Senator Sobel moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (217746) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 11 - 35
    4  and insert:
    5  emergency services during evenings, weekends, and holidays;
    6  prepare a community living support plan; execute a cooperative
    7  agreement before providing services; and implement the
    8  requirements of this section for state-funded residents who
    9  reside in an assisted living facility that holds a limited
   10  mental health license. The department shall establish
   11  performance measures for mental health services provided to
   12  state-funded residents of assisted living facilities and report
   13  performance on an annual basis pursuant to s. 216.013.
   14         (4) The Agency for Health Care Administration shall include
   15  in contracts with Medicaid reform plans, prepaid mental health
   16  plans, and managed care contract providers a requirement that
   17  residents have an assigned case manager; have emergency services
   18  during evenings, weekends, and holidays; have emergency
   19  psychiatric care when needed; and have a detailed protocol that
   20  explains how the provider will ensure appropriate supervision of
   21  the clinical needs of Medicaid-eligible individuals who reside
   22  in an assisted living facility that holds a limited mental
   23  health license. The agency shall require Medicaid managed care
   24  plans and prepaid mental health plans to establish performance
   25  measures for mental health services provided to state-funded
   26  residents of assisted living facilities and to report
   27  performance on an annual basis to the agency.
