Senator Sobel moved the following:
1 Senate Amendment to Amendment (203162)

3 Delete lines 9 - 20
4 and insert:
5 Elderly Affairs and the Department of Health, shall convene
6 a group of stakeholders to develop recommendations for creating
7 a certified medication technician program that allows a staff
8 member of a qualified assisted living facility to administer
9 specified medications in an assisted living facility. The
10 recommendations must address, but are not limited to, regulatory
11 oversight, course curriculum, training provider qualifications,
12 performance standards, reporting requirements, competency
13 testing, fees, competency review, and registration requirements.
14 (2) The stakeholders invited to convene shall consist of,
15 but are not limited to, at least one representative from each of
16 the following organizations: the state chapter of the American
17 Association of Retired Persons (Florida AARP), the Florida
18 Community Health Action Information Network (Florida CHAIN), the
19 Florida chapter of the Assisted
