       Senator Diaz de la Portilla moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

    3         Between lines 152 and 153
    4  insert:
    5         (85) KEISER UNIVERSITY LICENSE PLATES.—
    6         (a) Notwithstanding s. 45, chapter 2008-176, Laws of
    7  Florida, as amended by s. 21, chapter 2010-223, Laws of Florida,
    8  and s. 320.08053(1), the department shall develop a Keiser
    9  University license plate as provided in s. 320.08053(2) and (3)
   10  and this section. The plate must bear the colors and design
   11  approved by the department. The word “Florida” must appear at
   12  the top of the plate, and the words “Keiser University” must
   13  appear at the bottom of the plate.
   14         (b) The department shall retain all annual use fees from
   15  the sale of the plate until all startup costs for developing and
   16  issuing the plate have been recovered. Thereafter, the annual
   17  use fees from the sale of the plate shall be distributed to the
   18  Keiser Mills Foundation, which may use up to 10 percent of such
   19  fees for administrative costs and marketing of the plate. The
   20  balance of the fees shall be used by the Keiser Mills Foundation
   21  to provide annual college scholarships for students attending
   22  Keiser University.
