4 insert:
5 As used in this paragraph, the term “in the act of complying
6 with a mandatory evacuation order” is limited to the following
7 actions: leaving his or her residence within 24 hours after the
8 issuance of a mandatory evacuation order, traveling to and
9 reaching the geographical limits of an area under mandatory
10 evacuation, or traveling to and reaching a place within the
11 geographical limits of a mandatory evacuation area where he or
12 she can reasonably and safely comply with the possession and
13 transport requirements of chapter 790, whichever occurs first.
14 This paragraph does not preempt any other provision of law
15 related to possession or transport of a weapon or firearm in
16 chapter 252, chapter 790, or chapter 870.
