       Senators Latvala and Diaz de la Portilla moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (965938) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete line 227
    5  and insert:
    6         (6) A county or municipality may not purchase real property
    7  in another jurisdiction if such purchase would prevent the
    8  intended local business tax from being charged to that real
    9  property, unless the governing bodies of both jurisdictions
   10  consent to such purchase. The consent of both the governing body
   11  of the purchasing jurisdiction and the governing body of the
   12  jurisdiction where the real property is located must consent to
   13  the purchase.
   14         (7)(5) A receipt may not be issued unless the federal
