       The Committee on Appropriations (Ring) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 297 - 304
    4  and insert:
    5         1. Measurable student performance outcomes. Outcomes
    6  related to student performance, including outcomes for students
    7  with disabilities, must be tied to the efforts and strategies to
    8  improve outcomes related to student performance by use of an
    9  instructional delivery system that increases the depth of
   10  student and teacher engagement by enabling the interactive and
   11  collaborative use of classroom devices, digital curriculum, and
   12  assessments for integrating technology in classroom teaching and
   13  learning. Results of the outcomes shall be reported at least
   14  annually for the current school year and subsequent 3 years and
   15  be accompanied by an independent evaluation and validation of
   16  the reported results.
