       The Committee on Appropriations (Margolis) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory amendment)

    3         Delete line 220
    4  and insert:
    5         (6) For high pressure well stimulations, a permit shall be
    6  denied for any proposed high pressure well stimulation occurring
    7  within 1 mile of water wells, developed springs, nature
    8  preserves, wildlife preserves, sites designated for endangered
    9  species, state or federal parks, ponds, or groundwater for
   10  public water supply.
