    1                          Senate Resolution                        
    2         A resolution recognizing Citizens’ Crime Watch of
    3         Miami-Dade County on the occasion of its 40th
    4         anniversary.
    5  
    6         WHEREAS, as a diverse and growing metropolis, Miami-Dade
    7  County is home to a number of organizations whose commitment,
    8  hard work, and initiatives enhance the well-being of area
    9  residents, and
   10         WHEREAS, in 2015, one such organization, Citizens’ Crime
   11  Watch of Miami-Dade County, will celebrate 40 years of service
   12  in the community, and
   13         WHEREAS, Citizens’ Crime Watch of Miami-Dade County brings
   14  together residents, law enforcement officers, and the private
   15  sector to prevent and reduce crime by raising awareness and
   16  promoting crime prevention, working tirelessly to ensure that
   17  the residents of every neighborhood live safely and securely,
   18  and
   19         WHEREAS, Citizens’ Crime Watch of Miami-Dade County remains
   20  active and vigilant in teaching residents invaluable tools and
   21  practices for their safety and protection, NOW, THEREFORE,

   23  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:
   24  
   25         That Citizens’ Crime Watch of Miami-Dade County is
   26  recognized on the occasion of its 40th anniversary.
