    2         A resolution congratulating the Apopka High School
    3         Blue Darters football team for winning the 2014
    4         Florida High School Athletic Association Class 8A
    5         Football Championship.

    7         WHEREAS, the 2014-2015 Apopka High School Blue Darters
    8  football team finished the season as the Florida High School
    9  Athletic Association Class 8A Football Champions, and
   10         WHEREAS, the Blue Darters were ranked number one overall
   11  for the season, and
   12         WHEREAS, on December 13, 2014, the Apopka High School Blue
   13  Darters defeated the Christopher Columbus High School Explorers
   14  of Miami by a score of 30-23 in the Florida High School Athletic
   15  Association Class 8A Football Championship, ending the season
   16  with a 11-4 record, and
   17         WHEREAS, coaches Rick Darlington, Jeff Rolson, James
   18  Delgado, Bill Caughell, Lane Trompeter, Mark Barrett, Matt
   19  Anderson, Rodney Hodges, and Hunter Wood exhibited exemplary
   20  leadership and guidance to the team throughout the season, and
   21         WHEREAS, outstanding skill, sportsmanship, and
   22  competitiveness are characteristics that have been consistently
   23  demonstrated by team members David Britzius, Deshawn Massey,
   24  Roddre Hardwick, Cayvian Holmes, Taden Blaise, Dakarai Campbell,
   25  David Douglas, Demetri Burch, James Crider, Dimetri King,

   42  the 2014-2015 Apopka Blue Darters football team and commend the
   43  team and the coaches on their many accomplishments, NOW,

   48         That the 2014-2015 Apopka High School Blue Darters football
   49  team and coaching staff are congratulated for winning the 2014
   50  Florida High School Athletic Association Class 8A Football
   51  Championship and team members are recognized for their athletic
   52  ability, model sportsmanship, and honorable citizenship.
