    1                          Senate Resolution                        
    2         A resolution congratulating the Winter Park High
    3         School Wildcats cheerleading team for winning the 2015
    4         National Cheerleading Championship.
    5  
    6         WHEREAS, the 2015 Winter Park High School Wildcats
    7  cheerleading team finished the season as the Orange County Metro
    8  Conference champions, Florida High School Association 2A Class
    9  winners for Medium Varsity Division I, and National Champions,
   10  and
   11         WHEREAS, the Wildcats were ranked number one overall in the
   12  United States in 2015, and
   13         WHEREAS, exhibiting exemplary leadership and guidance to
   14  the team throughout the season were coaches Angela Austin, Robin
   15  McCormick, and Craig Russell, and
   16         WHEREAS, outstanding skill, sportsmanship, and
   17  competitiveness are characteristics that have been consistently
   18  demonstrated by team members Meghann Vick, Jayssa Cayo, Maegan
   19  Feeser, Brittney Strait, Hailey Adams, Lizzie Hunpatin, Walker
   20  Legler, Monique Dyer, Paige Stafne, Rebecca Klafter, Alexa Ben
   21  Zeev, Bailey Cain, Kyra Ashcraft, Morgan Vick, Cristina Cristy,
   22  Ally Rose, and Serena LeMand, and
   23         WHEREAS, the residents of Winter Park and the surrounding
   24  community admire the hard work and team spirit demonstrated by
   25  the 2015 Winter Park Wildcats cheerleading team during the 2014
   26  2015 season and commend the team on its many accomplishments,
   27  NOW, THEREFORE,

   29  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:
   30  
   31         That the 2015 Winter Park High School Wildcats cheerleading
   32  team is congratulated for winning the 2015 National Championship
   33  and recognized for its athletic ability, sportsmanship, and
   34  honorable citizenship, as well as the outstanding
   35  accomplishments of the team members and their coaches.
