       Senator Hukill moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 43 - 65
    4  and insert:
    5         (1) “Authorized user” means a director, officer, employee,
    6  third-party agent, contractor, or consultant of the owner,
    7  operator, or lessee of the protected computer or the owner of
    8  information stored in the protected computer if the director,
    9  officer, employee, third-party agent, contractor, or consultant
   10  is given express permission by the owner, operator, or lessee of
   11  the protected computer or by the owner of information stored in
   12  the protected computer to access the protected computer through
   13  a technological access barrier. Such permission, however, is
   14  terminated upon revocation by the owner, operator, or lessee of
   15  the protected computer or by the owner of information stored in
   16  the protected computer, or upon cessation of employment,
   17  affiliation, or agency with the owner, operator, or lessee of
   18  the protected computer or the owner of information stored in the
   19  protected computer.
