       The Committee on Communications, Energy, and Public Utilities
       (Dean) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Between lines 56 and 57
    4  insert:
    5         (3) Any person serving on the commission who seeks to be
    6  appointed or reappointed shall file with the nominating council
    7  no later than June 1 prior to the year in which his or her term
    8  expires a statement that he or she desires to serve an
    9  additional term. A commissioner appointed after July 1, 2015,
   10  may not serve more than three consecutive terms.

   13  And the directory clause is amended as follows:
   14         Delete lines 52 - 53
   15  and insert:
   16         Section 1. Subsection (3) of section 350.01, Florida
   17  Statutes, is amended, and subsections (8), (9), and (10) are
   18  added to that section, to read:

   21  And the title is amended as follows:
   22         Delete line 3
   23  and insert:
   24         350.01, F.S.; providing term limits for commissioners
   25         appointed after a specified date; requiring the
