       Senator Sobel moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory amendment)

    3         Between lines 773 and 774
    4  insert:
    5         (3)(a) The agency shall conduct a survey to determine
    6  general compliance with facility standards and compliance with
    7  residents’ rights as a prerequisite to initial licensure or
    8  licensure renewal. The agency shall adopt rules for uniform
    9  standards and criteria that will be used to determine compliance
   10  with facility standards and residents’ rights.
