Senator Latvala moved the following:

3 Delete line 320
4 and insert:
5 Section 14. Effective July 1, 2015, the four sports
6 development project applications that the Department of Economic
7 Opportunity reviewed and recommended to the Legislature for
8 approval pursuant to s. 288.11625, Florida Statutes, on January
9 23, 2015, are approved pursuant to s. 288.11625(4)(e), Florida
10 Statutes. The Department of Economic Opportunity shall certify
11 the applicants for sports development projects no later than
12 August 15, 2015.
13 Section 15. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this
14 act, this act shall take effect January 1, 2016.

28 trainer and a supervising physician; amending s.
29 468.707, F.S.; revising requirements for licensure;
30 authorizing the board to require a background
31 screening for an applicant in certain circumstances;
32 amending s. 468.709, F.S.; deleting the requirement
33 for the board to establish an examination fee;
34 amending s. 468.711, F.S.; revising continuing
35 education requirements for license renewal; amending
36 s. 468.713, F.S.; revising responsibilities of
37 athletic trainers to include requirements that a
38 trainer must practice under the direction of a
39 physician; amending s. 468.715, F.S.; prohibiting
40 sexual misconduct by an athletic trainer; amending s.
41 468.717, F.S.; prohibiting unlicensed persons from
42 practicing athletic training or representing
43 themselves as athletic trainers; prohibiting an
44 unlicensed person from using specified titles;
45 amending s. 468.719, F.S.; revising grounds for
46 disciplinary action; amending s. 468.723, F.S.;
47 providing exemptions; amending s. 456.0135, F.S.;
48 revising general background screening provisions to
49 include athletic trainers; approving specified sports
50 development project applications; requiring the
51 Department of Economic Opportunity to certify the
52 applicants by a specified date; providing effective
53 dates.
