       Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government (Dean)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 596 - 609
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 16. Paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section
    6  327.50, Florida Statutes, is reenacted to read:
    7         327.50 Vessel safety regulations; equipment and lighting
    8  requirements.—
    9         (1)(a) The owner and operator of every vessel on the waters
   10  of this state shall carry, store, maintain, and use safety
   11  equipment in accordance with current United States Coast Guard
   12  safety equipment requirements as specified in the Code of
   13  Federal Regulations, unless expressly exempted by the
   14  department.

   17  And the title is amended as follows:
   18         Delete lines 56 - 64
   19  and insert:
   20         “alligator” or “gator” in certain sales; reenacting s.
   21         327.50(1)(a), F.S., relating to vessel safety
   22         equipment, to incorporate changes to federal
   23         regulations; providing an effective date.
