       Senator Brandes moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 718 - 739
    4  and insert:
    5         (f) Dispensing organizations may sell low-THC cannabis and
    6  low-THC cannabis product only to and purchase low-THC cannabis
    7  and low-THC cannabis product only from other dispensing
    8  organizations licensed under this section.
    9         (g)1. A dispensing organization may transport, or contract
   10  for the transport of, low-THC cannabis or low-THC cannabis
   11  products in vehicles departing from the dispensing
   12  organization's places of business only in vehicles that are
   13  owned or leased by the dispensing organization, its contractor,
   14  or by a person designated by the dispensing organization, and
   15  for which a valid vehicle permit has been issued for such
   16  vehicle by the department.
   17         2. A permitted vehicle must be operated by the person who
   18  is designated by the dispensing organization, or its contractor,
   19  on the vehicle permit application as the driver of the vehicle
   20  when transporting low-THC cannabis or low-THC products from the
   21  licensee’s place of business.
   22         3. A vehicle permit may be obtained by a dispensing
   23  organization or its contractor upon application and payment of a
   24  fee of $5 per vehicle to the department. The signature of the
   25  person designated by the dispensing organization or its
   26  contractor to drive the vehicle must be included on the vehicle
   27  permit application. Such permit remains valid and does not
   28  expire unless the dispensing organization, its contractor, or
   29  any person designated by the dispensing organization disposes of
   30  his or her vehicle, or the licensee’s license is transferred,
   31  canceled, not renewed, or is revoked by the department,
   32  whichever occurs first. The department shall cancel a vehicle
   33  permit upon request of the licensee or owner of the vehicle.
