    2         An act relating to write-in candidates; amending s.
    3         99.0615, F.S.; removing the requirement that a write
    4         in candidate reside within the district of the office
    5         sought at the time of qualification; providing an
    6         effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Section 99.0615, Florida Statutes, is amended to
   11  read:
   12         99.0615 Write-in candidate residency requirements.—At the
   13  time of qualification, all write-in candidates must reside
   14  within the district represented by the office sought.
   15         Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
