       The Committee on Fiscal Policy (Hays) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete everything after the enacting clause
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 1. Subsection (3) of section 265.111, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         265.111 Capitol Complex; monuments.—
    8         (3) The Department of Management Services, in consultation
    9  with the Florida Historical Commission, shall set aside an area
   10  of the Capitol Complex, not including the State Capital Circle
   11  Office Complex, and dedicate a memorial garden on which
   12  authorized monuments shall be placed. The memorial garden must
   13  include a monument in remembrance of the 241 members of the
   14  United States Armed Forces who lost their lives on October 23,
   15  1983, in Beirut, Lebanon.
   16         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2015.

   22                        A bill to be entitled                      
   23         An act relating to the Beirut Memorial; amending s.
   24         265.111, F.S.; requiring the Capitol Complex memorial
   25         garden to include a memorial for members of the United
   26         States Armed Forces who lost their lives in Beirut,
   27         Lebanon, on a specified date; providing an effective
   28         date.
