       Senator Soto moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (310022) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 1020 and 1021
    5  insert:
    6         Section 39. Paragraph (f) is added to subsection (6) of
    7  section 550.2415, Florida Statutes, to read:
    8         550.2415 Racing of animals under certain conditions
    9  prohibited; penalties; exceptions.—
   10         (6)
   11         (f) A greyhound racing permitholder operating in this state
   12  must:
   13         1. Maintain its facility in a manner that provides for the
   14  safety of racing greyhounds;
   15         2. Maintain a safe racetrack surface at all times pursuant
   16  to safety standards adopted by the division;
   17         3. Install a safety device to remove the lure from the
   18  racetrack surface; and
   19         4. Insulate all exposed electrical wires on the racetrack
   20  surface or anywhere at the facility where a racing greyhound may
   21  come into contact with electrical wires.

   26  insert:
   27         amending s. 550.2415, F.S.; providing certain safety
   28         requirements for the racetrack facilities of a
