       Senator Abruzzo moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (310022) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Between lines 1020 and 1021
    5  insert:
    6         Section 39. Subsection (2) of section 718.103, Florida
    7  Statutes, is amended to read:
    8         718.103 Definitions.—As used in this chapter, the term:
    9         (2) “Association” means, in addition to any entity
   10  responsible for the operation of common elements owned in
   11  undivided shares by unit owners, any entity which operates or
   12  maintains other real property in which unit owners have use
   13  rights, where membership in the entity is composed exclusively
   14  of unit owners or their elected or appointed representatives and
   15  is a required condition of unit ownership. The term includes an
   16  umbrella association or organization. For purposes of this
   17  subsection, the term “umbrella association or organization”
   18  means an entity and its subordinate committees responsible for
   19  the operation of common elements owned in undivided shares by
   20  unit owners, any entity and its subcommittees which operates or
   21  maintains other real property in which unit owners have use
   22  rights, where membership in the entity or subcommittees is
   23  composed exclusively of unit owners or their elected or
   24  appointed representatives.
