       Senator Bradley moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (206420) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 396 - 400
    4  and insert:
    5  to ensure compliance with state law. The vendor may not be owned
    6  or operated by any health plan, health insurer, health
    7  maintenance organization, or any entity authorized to provide
    8  health care coverage in any state or any director, employee, or
    9  other person who has the ability to direct or control a health
   10  plan, health insurer, health maintenance organization, or any
   11  entity authorized to provide health care coverage in any state.
   12  The vendor must be qualified under s. 1874 of the Social
   13  Security Act, 42 U.S.C. 1395kk, to receive Medicare claims data
   14  and receive claims, payment, and patient cost-share data from
   15  multiple private insurers nationwide. The agency
