       Senator Brandes moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 18 and 19
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Subsection (2) of section 472.0366, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         472.0366 Elevation certificates; requirements for surveyors
    8  and mappers.—
    9         (2) Beginning January 1, 2017, a surveyor and mapper shall,
   10  within 30 days after completion, submit to the division a copy
   11  of each elevation certificate that he or she completes. The copy
   12  must be unaltered, except that the surveyor and mapper may
   13  redact the name of the property owner. The copy of an elevation
   14  certificate submitted to the division must be the final version
   15  of the elevation certificate that has been determined to be
   16  complete and accurate by the appropriate building official, if
   17  the surveyor and mapper was required to submit the elevation
   18  certificate to a local building official. The copy of an
   19  elevation certificate submitted to the division must be the

   21  determined to be complete and accurate by the appropriate
   22  building official, if the surveyor and mapper was required to

   24  If the surveyor and mapper was required to submit the elevation
   25  certificate to a local building official, the 30 day requirement
   26  of this subsection commences upon final determination by the
   27  appropriate local building official that the certificate is
   28  complete and accurate.
