       Senator Bean moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 92 - 105
    4  and insert:
    5         (1) A health care practitioner, a behavior analyst
    6  certified under s. 393.17, a person certified under part III of
    7  chapter 401, or a person certified under part IV or V of chapter
    8  468 who is practicing within the scope of his or her license or
    9  certification may provide telehealth services. A practitioner or
   10  person who is not a physician, but who provides telehealth
   11  services within the scope of his or her license or
   12  certification, may not be considered to be practicing medicine
   13  without a license.
   14         (2) As used in this section, the term "telehealth" means
   15  the use of synchronous or asynchronous telecommunications
   16  technology by a health care practitioner, a behavior analyst
   17  certified under s. 393.17, a person certified under part III of
   18  of chapter 401, or a person certified under part IV or V of
   19  chapter 468 to provide medical or other health care
